SOBRE MI ABOUT ME
JUAN SOTO
Licenciado en Filosofía por la Universitat de Barcelona y Máster en enseñanza de español ELE y L2 por el IL3 de la misma universidad. He realizado prácticas de profesor ELE en International House London. Destaca mi interés por el papel de la comunicación como elemento transformador de la sociedad en línea con la teoría crítica y la pedagogía crítica aplicadas a la enseñanza de idiomas. En ese sentido he colaborado como profesor ELE en diversas entidades de carácter social, principalmente vinculadas al Ayuntamiento de Barcelona. Actualmente trabajo como profesor de español en varios institutos de secundaria en el área de Londre y también como tutor de español en Idea Store (Tower Hamlets Council) donde puedo continuar investigando y desarrollando nuevos enfoques de aprendizaje más efectivos.
Degree in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona and Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language by the same university. I've taken internships ELE teacher at International House London. It highlights my interest in the role of communication as a transformer element of society in line with critical theory and critical pedagogy applied to language teaching. In that sense I have worked as a teacher ELE in various social institutions, mainly linked to Barcelona City Council. Currently I work as a Spanish teacher in a few Secondary Schools around London as well as a Spanish tutor at Idea Store (Tower Hamlets Council) where I feel free to continue researching and developing new more effective learning approaches.
